APA events: a gene can produce different mRNA isoforms by selecting different polyadenylation sites (PAS). Percentage of proximal poly(A) site usage index (PPUI), percentage of distal poly(A) site usage index (PDUI) or poly(A) usage (PAU) are often used for quantifying APA events. In our analyses, two different algorithms (DaPars2 and QAPA) were used to calculate the APA event for each gene in each tissue.
On this page, users can query APA events by gene symbol or Ensembl gene ID.
1. Select algorithm, species and tissue separately from the drop-down list.
2. Enter gene either
3. Hit the 'Query' button!
